About the Aircraft

In 1969, the U.S. Naval Fighter Weapons School more popularly known as TOP GUN, was established to improve the tactics and techniques in combat of fighter pilots from the Vietnam War experience. The F/A-18 Hornet, the current U.S. Navy's main force fighter, takes air combat training there in a leading role. With its excellent maneuverability, the F/A-18 Hornet is used primarily as the virtual enemy aircraft currently owned by the school.
 

About the Kit

This is an assembly plastic model kit for F/A-18C Hornet United States Navy Fighter Weapons School "TOP GUN" in 1/144 scale.
- Glue and paint are required.
- Contains TWO F/A-18C Hornet model kits.
- The finish is about 110mm in length.
- Parts are made by F-toys.
- Decals are set three types of markings of the specification of the virtual enemy aircraft as below,
