About the Aircraft

The UH-60J is a search and rescue helicopter based on the UH-60 Black Hawk, and manufactured under license in Japan. The UH-60JA is multipurpose helicopter improved to the specifications of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF). The UH-60J is able to carry twelve crew members, and load various supplies as well as reconnaissance motorcycles. There is no fixed armament but machine guns are equipped on both sides of the aircraft for ground shooting. It is active in a wide range of missions, such as rappelling descent of members from the large sliding door, rappelling mortars on the underside of the aircraft for transportation. It is also equipped with a hoist device that lifts persons into the cabin when dispatched to a disaster.
 

About the Kit

This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the UH-60JA, a utility helicopter operated by the JGSDF in 1/144 scale.
■Glue and paints are required.
■The finished total length is about 11 cm.
■Contains ONE UH-60JA model kit with F-toys made detailed parts.
■The fuselage is divided into three parts, left and right and nose.
■The parts such as the landing gear and the rotors are separate parts, and the panel line is also delicately molded.
■Includes etched parts that sharply reproduce small details.
■Marking is for the JGSDF specification with Cartograf made decal.
