About the Aircraft

Since 2001, the Rafale M has been deployed and operated as a French navy carrier-based fighter. The feature is the delta wing equipped with a small canard on the left and right sides of the cockpit. The engine is equipped with two SNECMA M88-2 turbofans. It boasts a maximum speed of Mach 1.8. In addition to equipping the aircraft with a 30mm cannon, it can be equipped with various weapons such as air-to-air missiles and air-to-ship missiles at hardpoints under the wing and the fuselage. Equipped with avionics such as Thales RBE2 radar and Electronic Warfare system, the Rafale M demonstrated high performance. Currently, 40 Rafale M are deployed and continues to play an active part.
 

About the Kit

This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the French Navy carrier-based fighter, Rafale M in 1/72 scale.
■Collaboration with ITALERI-made kit and Japanese instructions made by PLATZ.
■The finish is about 212 mm.
■Reproduce the shape of the canard delta wing with accuracy.
■Reproduce the equipment unique to carrier-capable fighter such as landing hook.
■Missiles and the drop tank are also recreated.
■Enclosed with a masking sheet convenient for canopy painting.
■Marking is made by the Cartograf with high quality.
