About the Aircraft

The F8U Crusader (later re-designated as F-8) was the first operational supersonic carrier aircraft served for the United States Navy and Marine Corps in the late 1950s. With high-speed performance and air combat performance, its excellent landing performance made it easy to master as a carrier aircraft.
Variants of the F-8 remained in active service for 40 years approximately.

About the Kit

■ The kit includes TWO F8U-2 CRUSADER model kits with TWO optional marking schemes decals and instruction sheet in color.
■ Precisely molded, and also features refined recessed panel lines.
■ The silk-screen printing decals are made by Cartograf which enable to reproduce marking scheme of F8U-2 Crusader Bu No. 145572 VF-84 “Jolly Rogers” USS Independence 1959, and F8U-2 Crusader Bu No. 146907 VF-142 “Fighting Falcons” USS Ranger 1959.
■ The finish is about 115mm in length.
